Babes In The Woods is a rare masterpiece by Franz Lefler discovered in a flea market in 1975 in Portland Oregon by Melba Quick. It was confirmed as the original by the Antique Road Show in 1997.  
 
Franz Lefler was born in 1831 in Langenbruck, Bohemia.  He died in 1898 in WeiBenbach an der Triesting (Lower Austria). 
 
The owner of Babes In The Woods asked Randall Quick to restore the original and he was granted permission to produce a limited number of fine art Giclee's on canvas captured directly from the original.
